Moist eyes all day long

LACREON® technology embeds a wetting agent into the contact lens material to help keep your eyes moist – even at the end of the day when they need it most.

Making your day easier

With ACUVUE® daily disposable lenses, you can enjoy the convenience of a new lens every day without the need for disinfecting solutions, cleaning or storage. For daily disposable ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses, ask your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist about 1• DAY ACUVUE® TruEye® or 1• DAY ACUVUE® MOIST®. Their no-need-to-clean, daily disposable design is particularly good for an active or busy lifestyle. And a fresh pair of lenses each day is the most hygienic and healthiest way to wear contact lenses.
All ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are easy to use. They come in a variety of designs and wear schedules to suit your lifestyle and vision needs.

Correcting your Vision

ACUVUE® offers a range of contact lenses to correct most vision needs. For help finding out if ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses can correct your vision, speak to your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist and see the list of vision needs below.

Contact lenses for short-sightedness (myopia)

If you find it difficult to clearly see objects in the distance, ACUVUE® has a contact lens for you.

These contact lenses are thinner at the centre than at the edges. This helps to move the focal point of the light to your retina, so you can see objects at a distance more clearly.

For daily disposable contact lenses ask your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist about 1•DAY ACUVUE® TruEye® or 1• DAY ACUVUE® MOIST®. If you prefer reusable lenses ask about ACUVUE® OASYS®

Contact lenses for long-sightedness (hyperopia)

If you find it hard to focus on objects up close, ACUVUE® has a contact lens for you.

These contact lenses are more curved at the centre and thinner at the edges. They move the focal point forward to focus light on your retina, so you can see objects up close more clearly.

If you prefer to use daily disposable contact lenses, ask your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist about 1• DAY ACUVUE® TruEye® or 1• DAY ACUVUE® MOIST®. For reusable lenses, ask about ACUVUE® OASYS®.

Contact lenses for Presbyopia

Presbyopia is an age-related condition whereby you find it increasingly hard to focus sharply on near objects, especially in low light. Presbyopia commonly starts to affect people over the age of 45¹.

Multifocal lenses are used to correct presbyopia. These lenses are designed to see clearly at distance and at near.

Another approach to presbyopia is monovision, whereby one eye has a contact lens to see up close while the other eye has a lens to see far away. Depending on your distance vision, a single lens may be all you need.

Contact lenses for astigmatism

If you have astigmatism your vision may be blurry or distorted at all distances. Thanks to developments in technology, ACUVUE® has a contact lens for you too.

Soft toric contact lenses correct astigmatism by compensating for the individual differences in the shape of your eye, enabling light to focus correctly on the retina at the back of your eye.

ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses for astigmatism have Accelerated Stabilisation Design (ASD) technology which uses the power of your natural blink to help keep your lens in position to give you clear, stable vision.

For daily disposable lenses, ask your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist about 1• DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® for ASTIGMATISM. Or if you prefer reusable contact lenses, ask about ACUVUE® OASYS® for ASTIGMATISM.

If your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist advises you that contact lenses are a good choice to correct your vision, you’ll need to decide if you’d prefer to wear daily disposable or reusable contact lenses. Your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist will be able to give you the best advice about which contact lens is right for you.

For help deciding which type of contact lenses will best suit your lifestyle, see our articles about different types of contact lenses or choosing the right type of contact lenses.

Simple to USE

ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses include helpful features which make them quick and easy to handle. Here’s how:

A tint to help you spot the lens

All ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are tinted pale blue so you can see them more easily in their packet or in your contact lens case. The tint makes it easier to pick them up and put them on, so you can get going.

And our cleverly designed blue tint won’t colour the way you look or see!

As easy as 1-2-3

There’s a 123 indicator on most ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses so you can easily tell if your lens is inside out. Hold the lens up to the light and if the numbers 123 are the wrong way round, flip the lens over and it’s ready to put on!
